CBSE XII (Central Board of Secondary Education) 2011 Results

Monday, 23 May 2011: Students in schools following the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus in the district have notched up a creditable performance in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (class 12), the results of which were declared on Monday.

At St. Thomas Central School in the city, 189 of the 312 students who appeared for the examinations got distinction.

A press note said 41 of these students scored more than 90 per cent marks. As many as 117 students passed with first class.

In the science stream, the school first was Namitha Chacko with 96.8 per cent marks.

In the commerce stream, Thara Hari came first with 94.6 per cent marks.

In the humanities stream, the first position went to Neeraja Balachandran, who scored 92.6 per cent marks.

Holy Angels School secured a 100 per cent pass.

In the biology stream, Akhila J. Prasad became the school first with 95.2 percent marks.

In the computer stream, Sabitha Susan Joseph came first with 92 per cent. Of the 60 students who wrote the examinations, 45 scored distinctions and 13 first class.

At Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kodunganoor, Renu R. Nair emerged first with 94.8 per cent marks.

The school posted a 98 per cent success rate.

At Chinmaya Vidyalaya, 20 of the 60 students who appeared for the examinations got distinction, while 25 got first class.

H.J. Vaishnavi scored A1 for all subjects.

At Saraswathi Vidyalaya, from where 361 students appeared for the examinations, 197 secured distinction and 139 first class.

In the science stream, C.M. Niranjana came first with 96 per cent marks. In the commerce stream, F.A. Ferzaad Mohammed came first with 92.2 per cent marks.

At Jyothis Central School, Kazhakuttom, of the 30 students who appeared for the examination in the science stream, seven got distinction and the rest first class. Aswin Suresh came first with 90 per cent marks. All six students in the commerce stream got first class, with S. Rehmath coming first with 70 per cent marks.

All students who appeared for the examinations from Kairali Vidya Bhavan, Nedumangad, passed.

Of the 77 students who wrote the examinations from Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya, Nalanchira, 20 got distinction, 39 first class, and the rest second class.

At ARR Senior Secondary School, Nettayam, 82 of the 87 students who wrote the examinations passed.

At Amrita Vidyalayam, Kaimanam, all students who wrote the examinations passed. J.A. Anju came first with 95.2 percent marks.

Of the 51 students who appeared for the examinations from Dr. G.R. Public School, Neyyattinkara, 50 passed. While 19 students got distinction, 25 secured first class.

At St. Mary's Residential Central School, 38 of the 60 students got distinction and the remaining 22 got first class. R. Lekshmi Devi came first with 95.8 per cent marks.

Of the 36 students at Sree Chithira Thirunal Residential Central School, Kunnathukal, 22 got distinction and 14 first class.

A.R. Kiran came first with 90 per cent marks.

Sree Chithra Public School, Chirayinkeezh, registered a 100 per cent pass. R. Rekha came first with 93 per cent marks.

All students who wrote the examinations from Sree Vivekananda Memorial Public School passed.
