Conference on nano-polymer processing begins

Kottayam: The international conference on nano-polymer processing and characterisation organised by the Centre for Nano Science and Technology began at the School of Chemical Sciences at Mahatma Gandhi University here on Friday. The three-day conference was inaugurated by Pro Vice-Chancellor Rajan Varughese.

According to organisers, experts, including Manfred Stamm of Germany, Yang Weimin of China, Prof. Muller of Venezuela and K.L. Sebastian of Indian Institute of Science, will deliver plenary talks. There will be 200 invited talks and 50 posters focusing on specific tenets of polymer processing and characterisation.
Nearly 300 delegates, including 100 from aboard, are participating in the conference.
